All phil&teds products are backed by a full, one-year warranty against material and workmanship defects.
How to Start a Warranty Claim
Call first before sending a product back for any reason. We solve many issues with advice or replacement parts. If it turns out to be a bit more serious, we'll advise you on how to proceed.
shopphilandteds.com is authorized to assist our direct customers for the first 30 days after purchase from our website. You can reach us at 800-890-9425.
After the first 30 days and up to one-year after purchase, contact Kiwi Logistics, the phil&teds distributor, at 800-839-4985. At phil&teds/Kiwi Logistics discretion, products damaged due to workmanship or material defects will be repaired or replaced, free of charge. It is up to you to pay return shipping expenses, This replacement promise applies to product purchased through an authorized US dealer like shopphilandteds.com, accompanied by a dated proof of purchase, and meeting with compliance to warranty conditions.
When Does the Warranty Not Apply?
- Undocumented purchases: Items without a detailed and dated receipt/proof-of-purchase.
- Hand-me-downs: Warranties are not transferable.
- Modified product: If you customized or magyvered your product, we won't fix your creation, but we'll be impressed if it looks really cool.
- Improperly maintained product.
- Normal wear and tear, such as fading, fraying, or fatigue.
- Improper usage, which use includes, but is not limited to, disregard of instructions, leaving a child unattended, not using the safety harness, loading the product excessively, and subjecting the phil&teds to transport damage such as by stowage in a car trunk or airline handling. If you drop anything hard enough, it may break; that's not a defect.
- Improper maintenance.
- Products purchased from third party websites such as eBay®
- Issues not reported or product not returned until outside the one-year warranty. Please note that the warranty starts from the date of purchase, not the date of gifting or start of use.
- Close-out or open box purchases. phil&teds items purchased as-is don't include a warranty like brand new, premium sales.
Exclusions
Any consequential loss or damage to any person or property directly or indirectly as a result of using product.
